The Exclude from SDL contribution setting prevents Skills Development Levy (SDL) calculations for the selected company. Before enabling this setting, ensure that the company meets the statutory requirements for SDL exemption.
Switch to Payroll
Select the App switcher in the top-left corner.
Select the arrow icon.
Select Payroll.
Open company payroll settings
Select the company name from the top menu bar.
Select Manage company payroll details.
Select the Statutory information tab.
Tick Exclude from SDL contribution
Select Save and close company.
