Skills Development Levy (SDL) is a statutory employer contribution used to fund skills development initiatives. If the company qualifies for an SDL exemption, select Exclude from SDL contribution to prevent SDL calculations. Leave the option unselected to include the company in SDL calculations and reporting.
Switch to Payroll
Select the App switcher in the top-left corner.
Select the arrow icon.
Select Payroll.
Open company payroll settings
Select the company name from the top menu bar.
Select Manage company payroll details.
Select the Statutory information tab.
Untick Exclude from SDL contribution
Select Save and close company.
