Add earnings for an employee in Sage Payroll

How to add earnings to an employee’s payslip in Sage Payroll.

You can add earnings that don't appear automatically in the employee’s template. Once added, the values form part of the employee’s payslip for the current pay run.


  1. Go to Employee, select employee and open Payslip values.

  2. Select Add earnings.

  3. Select the Existing pay component or Custom pay component.

  4. Tick the checkbox to add this earning.

  5. Select Add.

  6. Select Save, then close the employee.
