How to add statutory company information in Sage Payroll


Complete statutory, contact, banking, and address details before processing payroll in Sage Payroll.


Switch to Payroll

  1. Select the App switcher in the top-left corner.

  2. Click the triangle icon and select Payroll.

Open company payroll settings

  1. Select the company name from the top menu bar.

  2. Select Manage company payroll details.

Complete statutory information

  1. Select the Statutory information tab.

  2. Enter the following details:

    • Company registration

    • Pay As You Earn (PAYE) registration number

    • Skills Development Levy (SDL) reference number

    • Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) reference number

    • UIF registration number

    • Standard industry classification

    • Trade classification industry

    • Trade classification code

  3. Select Save and next page.

Add contact person details

  1. Complete the Contact person detail tab using the following information:

    • Type

    • First name

    • Surname

    • Telephone number

    • Fax number

    • Email address

    • Job title

  2. Select Save and next page.

Capture banking details

  1. Complete the Banking detail screen with the following information:

    • Account type

    • Account name

    • Account number

    • Bank name

    • Branch name

    • Branch code

  2. Select Save and next page.

Add company address

  1. Complete the Address screen with the following details:

    • Unit number

    • Complex name

    • Street number

    • Street name

    • Suburb

    • City

    • Country

    • Province

    • Postcode

  2. Select Same as physical address for the postal address.

  3. Select Save to complete the setup.
