What does skipping a pay run mean
Skipping a pay run means you don’t process a scheduled pay run.
You'll move on to the next scheduled pay run in the pay period.
⚠️Caution: If you skip a pay run, you can't return to process it in the future.
Why skip a pay run
The system skips pay runs when temporary or seasonal employees don’t work during the pay period.
What happens when skipping a pay run
The system sets all employee payroll transaction values to zero.
The system still processes other transactions, such as employee terminations and leave.
The system skips all additional pay runs linked to this pay run.
Go to Pay Run from the Payroll menu.
Select Skip pay run.
Ensure to read and understand the Skip pay run process.
Click Skip pay run then Close once the process is complete.
