Set up training events

Set up training events settings in Sage HR, ready for when you have training events to add for your employees to attend.

If you have Sage HR's Core HR module, you can create training events in Sage HR for your employees to attend to help with their working skills or personal development.

๐Ÿ“ŽNOTE: Training events aren't available if you use Sage HR Essentials or Basic HR.


Training events settings

  1. Logged in as an admin or training administrator, click on your name on the top right, then click Settings.

  2. On the settings menu, click Employee data, then click Training events.

On this page you can:


Allow employees to request tickets

To allow employees to be placed on a waiting list for the training event:

  1. Select Allow employees to request tickets even when event is full and place them in waiting list.

  2. Click Save.


Add training event categories

You can create categories for your training events. For example, if it is an online course.

List of training event categories such as 'Online course' and 'Seminar'.


Add a training event

Once you've finished setting up your training event settings, you can add training events for your employees to attend.
