Can I disable 2-factor authentication for my company?

It isn't possible to remove the requirement of 2-factor authentication (2FA) once disabled, but you can reset it.

You will be required to use 2FA in the following circumstances:

  • You use a Customer Sage account to log in - Any user using a Customer Sage account has to use 2FA

  • You use an Employee Sage account, and an admin has enabled the requirement for all employees in the company to set up 2FA

You can't disable the requirement to set up 2FA for Customer Sage accounts, but you can for Employee Sage accounts.

📎NOTE: Disabling 2FA doesn't turn off 2FA for users who have already set up 2FA for their login.
