Disable a trackable document category

You can disable a trackable document category in Sage HR if you no longer need it.

Disabling a trackable document category removes it from document uploads and stops tasks linked to that category. You can enable the category again at any time.


Disable a trackable document category

  1. Select your name in the top-right corner, then select Settings.

  2. Select Employee data.

  3. Select Trackable documents.

  4. Select Disable next to the category.

  5. Confirm by selecting Disable trackable document type.

After you disable the category:

  • It no longer appears when you upload documents

  • Sage HR removes all employee assignments

  • Employees no longer receive tasks to provide the document


Re-enable a trackable document category

Follow the same steps and select Enable instead.

📎NOTE: You can’t delete a trackable document category. After you create one, you can only disable or re‑enable it.
