Add a training type

Create new training types to categorise your different types of training.

Training types help you to categorise what kind of training it is that an employee needs.

An example of a training type could be an online course, or onsite training by an expert etc.

We show you how to add training types in the steps below.

๐Ÿ“ŒTIP: We recommend you set up your payment types before you add a training type.


  1. Logged in as an admin or training administrator, click on your name on the top right, then click Settings.

  2. On the settings menu, click Employee data, then click Training.

  3. To add a training type, under Training types, click Add training type.

  4. Enter a name for the new training type.

  5. Select the payment type for the training type.

    โ€‹๐Ÿ“ŽNOTE: You must select a payment type, otherwise you won't be able to successfully add new training. This is because there'll be no payment type to select when you select the training type.

  6. If required, you can select to notify employees a certain number of days before the due date of the training.

  7. When you're finished, click Add.

๐Ÿ“ŒTIP: To edit a training type click on the pencil icon next to it. To delete a training type click on the rubbish bin icon.
