If you want additional custom fields to fill in when you add or edit an asset, then these can be created by following the steps below.
As an administrator or asset administrators, click your name in the top right, then click Settings.
On the settings menu, click Assets, then click Custom fields.
Create a custom field
Click Add new.
Name the field.
Select the type of field you want it to be: Text, Dropdown or a Date.
If required, enter a description
If required, select if you want it visible to an employee. If you don't select this, only their manager can see it.
Click Add.
Edit a custom field
Click the pencil icon next to the custom field.
Make your changes, then click Update.
Delete a custom field
Click the trash can icon next to the custom field.
Click OK to confirm the deletion.
